Ingredients (Makes about 2 cups):
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp moonshine (or whiskey if youโre fancy)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves, then simmer on low for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
- Let cool and store in a mason jar. Brush on meats during the last 10 minutes of grilling or serve on the side.
Tip: If you want extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne or a splash of hot sauce.
