Ingredients (Makes about 2 cups):

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp moonshine (or whiskey if youโ€™re fancy)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves, then simmer on low for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  3. Let cool and store in a mason jar. Brush on meats during the last 10 minutes of grilling or serve on the side.

Tip: If you want extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne or a splash of hot sauce.
